Do I Feel Like I'm Happy Now?
'Do I Feel Like I'm Happy Now?' is Evie's debut album, released on Friday 2nd December; consisting of 8 tracks, including the BBC Introducing featured singles, 'According To Maybe', ' Wearing A Crown' and 'Toxicity'. Created in conjunction with her producer, James Albarn, 'Do I Feel Like I'm Happy Now?' is a raw, vulnerable and emotional album that gives an insight into Evie's struggling self-esteem and identity. Starting with the single 'Wearing A Crown', the album shows Evie's progression from asking herself if she is happy and content with her life and doubting herself all the way through to the single 'According To Maybe' where she finds her inner fight and tells herself and the listener not to give up. Included in the middle of the album is a heartfelt rendition of the song 'I'm Tired' by Labrinth, made famous by the HBO series, 'Euphoria'.
James Albarn's synth electronica-informed pop production layered with raw, ethereal vocals creates the album's unique sound and aims to speak to those struggling with believing in themselves.
