'One In Ten'
One in ten is Evie's newest project. Starting in October 2023, a new painting will be released each month to raise awareness of PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome). One in ten women and those assigned female at birth are diagnosed with PCOS in the UK.
Introducing the first piece from the collection, 'One', a piece consisting of ten acrylic ink and water layers with only one layer being the colour teal, the PCOS awareness colour.
Meet The Artist
Living in London, England, Evie is a self-taught abstract and line artist. Her work uses fluid acrylics and ink to create free flowing, unique pieces. Her line work centres around the female form aiming to depict the beauty of the human body in all shapes and sizes. Her abstract work is inspired both by the outdoors and her emotions and feelings when painting.
Evie always loved creating art as a child, but only began art professionally in 2020. Prior to that, her main creative passion was music and singing. When she caught covid 19 early on in the pandemic, Evie found herself struggling to breathe and sing and so instead turned to creating art as a creative outlet and fell in love.
